Applied Sound has been designing and installing CCTV & Access Control systems since analog cameras and tape were the predominant technology! We have developed fully IP-based solutions, even offering a cloud-based off premises solution with an easy to use, easy to access, and easy to deploy web console.
Applied Sound has been installing, maintaining and servicing house of worship sound (and video) systems since 1984. We have installed hundreds of systems across the tristate area. With in-house, professional, certified audio engineers on staff, your system will be balanced correctly, and – perhaps most importantly – designed to allow for end-user control. All installations include full end user system training.
Overhead paging is a niche that Applied Sound has excelled in for over 30 years. As technology has developed, Applied Sound has been able to develop a program of monitoring speakers, amplifiers, and telco-interactions from off-site, keeping a constant eye on the overhead paging solution. Email alerts and triggering allow for notifications if speaker lines are damaged or offline. Temperature sensors can watch that the system is cool and in the proper environment. Off-site volume adjustments can be performed over the web. Today’s solutions are scalable, intelligent, and affordable.
Sound Masking, or “white noise” systems have become increasingly popular in today’s open floorplan architecture. In their simplest sense, these systems are comprised of ceiling speakers (often hidden above the ceiling) that emit a “rushing’ noise that sounds like air conditioning. This noise is specifically equalized to your specific architecture to present the exact frequencies desired. With this engineered sound, the users in an environment focus more on this sound than on auxiliary noises and conversations, removing distractions and allowing focus and speech privacy.
